Help guide for TestPad download:

You can download the test pad either from the DigiProctor website (i.e. this webpage) or from your test taker’s account dashboard.

Download fromTest Taker account dashboard:

When you click download the test pad from your test taker account (the button is displayed on your account dashboard), DigiProctor will automatically download the correct test pad depending on whether your device is Mac or Windows and whether it is using a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system.

After downloading the test pad (either 32-bit or 64-bit versions as applicable to you), you will have to install the application in your device.

Click it to install the testpad application.

The installer will guide you through the installation procedure. In case you do not have the required Java version, you will be prompted to download the same. The installer will automatically take you to the Java download site.

If you cancel the installation process at any point or do not install the Java version, your installation will be cancelled and testpad will not be installed.

If you do not login to your test taker account, and instead opt to download the test pad from the DigiProctor website (i.e. from this webpage), then Digiproctor will automatically analyse your system (whether it is Mac or Windows and whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit, and recommend which version of the test pad you must download)

For example, if DigiProctor discovers that you are currently logged in from a windows 32-bit machine, it will recommend that you must download and install the 32-bit windows test pad.

After downloading the test pad (either 32-bit or 64-bit versions as applicable to you), you will have to install the application in your device.

If you cancel the installation process at any point or do not install the Java version, your installation will be cancelled and testpad will not be installed.

In case of problems - Download Zip file of test pad

There may be cases when the test pad you have downloaded either from this webpage, or which is automatically downloaded in your test taker account, may not install correctly in your device.

Difficulties or failure to install the test pad could be due to a number of reasons - many are related due to the specific configuration of your device. Also, there may be less disk space in ‘C’ directory (C Directory is the default installation directory for the testpad installation). In such cases, when you are facing difficulties in installing the test pad, you can download the recommended ZIP version of the test pad from this webpage.

Install the windows Zip file as follows:

1. Install the file named “ "jre-8u251-windows-x64.exe " for 64 bit OS or "jre-8u251-windows-i586.exe " for 32 bit OS.

2. After successful installation, click the file with name "Testpad__2.0.4_64.exe " for 64 bit OS or "Testpad_2.0.4_32.exe" for 32 bit OS to open the testpad.
